The Sun Automation Group (Glen Arm, Maryland) has unveiled Helios, a new Artificial Intelligence (AI) and machine-learning platform tailored specifically for the corrugated converting industry. The OEM-agnostic Industrial Internet of Things (IIoT) solution from Sun Automation maximizes profitability for corrugated manufacturers via actionable performance data and insights.
The Helios platform was engineered to provide corrugated manufacturers with access to robust, actionable insights into the performance of their machines – thus reducing downtime, optimizing maintenance schedules, decreasing costs associated with only taking machines offline for preventative maintenance (as opposed to major malfunctions), and ultimately, maximizing overall profits.
